From The Chairman's Desk
It is a great pleasure to understand that INJ
Business School is releasing a newsletter. I strongly feel that to keep pace
with the technological growth and advancement of ideology. I hope that in
future the Newsletter will come out with regular quarterly periodicity. We
consider our students as our wealth and the window to India's future. We
train and nurture them to exploit their full potential and make them stand
out as winners. The management firmly believes that their students shall
carry societal responsibility and have faith in hard work. With the sense of
creating a unique environment that promotes knowledge, culture, sports and
societal commitment, we welcome you to explore it all and experience the
difference.

The INJ Business School has started a newsletter
which is the symbol of an Institute's prosperity and advancement. This
newsletter will come out with regular quarterly periodicity. This newsletter
highlights the happening and advancement in the Institute, made during the
past few months and some articles from the Students, Staff and Faculty of
the Institute.

Orientation Programme
The orientation programme was organized for the new
entrants in the PGDM programme of INJ Business School on 17th September
2007, where students were welcomed by the management and were informed about
the current economic activities going on in the global perspective.
Workshop On Communication Skills
Mr. S.C.Kapoor, a senior Management Consultant and a
motivator, provided tips to the students how to be a good communicator on
20th September, 2007. As per Mr. Gupta, a good communicator can only be a
person who is also a good observer and a left mind thinker.
Seminar on "Team Working"
Prof. M.L.Gupta, Advisor J.S.S. Mahavidyapeetha,
gave an enlightened power- point presentation on 26th September 2007 on team
working with the help of movie named Chak De India. The seminar was well
attended by all the Faculty and Students of the Institute. Thereafter, an
interactive session was held, where Prof. Gupta provided all the
clarifications and gave additional information gained from industry and
corporate world.
Industrial Visit
With the dual purpose of developing group values and
industry interface at shop floor, the students of the Institute visited
Bhushan Steel & Strips Ltd., Ghaziabad, on 1st October, 2007
Interactive Learning
To strike the right balance between theoretical
inputs and practical exposure and to make learning an enriching experience,
a interactive session was organized in the campus on 11th October 2007,
where Prof. I.S.Malhotra, Chief Programme Director- Academic Operations,
RNIS Academy, Prof. R.B.L.Goswami, Former Vice Chancellor, CCS university
and Prof. J.N.Raina renowned speaker & academician, informed students
about latest trend in the field of marketing, and how to become eligible for
the job.
Personality Development Programme
A 4 day workshop on Personality Development was
organized for the students in collaboration with The Image Boosters,
Ghaziabad, from 16th October- 19th October, 2007. It was organized in such a
manner where the students will be able to know their weaknesses and improve
upon those areas like, integrated activity interwoven with academic
curriculum for enhancing and upgrading over all personality of each student
through psychological testing, extra curricular activities in the end
increases the competence of the students to become well groomed as active
entrepreneurial managers.
Talk Show With Ndtv India
Students visited NDTV INDIA for an interactive
session on the topic "House Husband" on 19th October, 2007, in
which teams of students of various institutes participated and that was
later on telecasted on NDTV INDIA.
Diwali Celebration
In the month of November, it was the time to break
from their routine mundane schedule. The occasion was of the Diwali Fest on
7th November, 2007. It was a one day affair, the faculty members and
students were all geared up, excited and anxious. The sheer hard work could
be seen in the programmes and activities that followed.
Trade Fair Visit
Students of the institute were accompanied by the
faculty member to trade fair New Delhi on 23rd November 2007.The experience
was extremely enriching and it boosted the morale of the student.
Inter collegiate Competition
Students participated in an inter college management
competition organized by Accman Institute, Greater Noida from 30th November
-2nd December 2007. The main event included Quiz competition, Debate Case
presentation, Management game etc. The INJ team consisted of 8 students who
were ably guided and accompanied by the faculty and staff members,
participated in management quiz and Debate.
Industrial Visit to Moser Baer India LTD.
To supplement class room teaching an Industrial
visit to Moser Baer was organized on 7th December 2007. This helped the
student not only to groom their personality but also to discover their
unrealized potential. These will enable them to acquire a competitive edge
over others and prepare them to face the challenges of the corporate world.
Work shop on Listening Skills
A workshop on listening skill by Dr. Om Prakash was
organized in the Institute on 12th December .The students, Faculty, Staff
and persons from near by Institute attended the workshop. The importance of
listening in management of one's life was explained in a very lucid manner
by the speaker with practical example. They were advised to put into
practice, all that they had learned during the workshop, in everyday life to
gain maximum benefits.
Industrial Visit to LG Electronics
To supplement class room teaching an Industrial
visit to LG was organized on 6th February 2008. This helped the student not
only to groom their personality but also to discover their unrealized
potential. These will enable them to acquire a competitive edge over others
and prepare them to face the challenges of the corporate world.
